Over 60,000 people throughout California will participate in the 33rd Annual California Coastal Cleanup Day on Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 9:00 AM to Noon.
Volunteers for the event will help to remove trash and debris from beaches, creeks, and other waterways promoting the health and sustainability of our environment and to protect natural wildlife.
Environmental Sustainability suggests that volunteers bring their own bucket, hat, sunscreen, and water (in a reusable container). Additionally, local volunteers will have the option to participate in a social media photo contest where they will have the opportunity to win great prizes from local businesses.
