Over 60,000 people throughout California will participate in the 33rd Annual California Coastal Cleanup Day on Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 9:00 AM to Noon.
Volunteers for the event will help to remove trash and debris from beaches, creeks, and other waterways promoting the health and sustainability of our environment and to protect natural wildlife.
Environmental Sustainability suggests that volunteers bring their own bucket, hat, sunscreen, and water (in a reusable container). Additionally, local volunteers will have the option to participate in a social media photo contest where they will have the opportunity to win great prizes from local businesses.

Come visit Ventura Water’s booth at SUMMERFEST on Saturday, June 3, 2017, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. at the Ventura Unified School District (VUSD) Education Service Center, 255 West Stanley Avenue, Ventura.
The event, a celebration of healthy living featuring hands-on crafts, educational exhibits, sporting events, music, and more is presented by Ventura Education Partnership (VEP) and the VUSD, and is FREE and open to the public.
Visitors to Ventura Water will be hosting a booth, and other city departments will have vehicles present to check out. Vehicles include a BuildSMART trailer outfitted with a variety of durable material displays, installations, and energy efficient systems, the Police Department’s Bear Cat SWAT vehicle, a fire engine from the Fire Department, and a vactor truck from Ventura Water. The Environmental Sustainability booth will be given the opportunity to play environmental games and a chance to win some fantastic GREEN prizes! See you there!
