The first Earth Day on April 22, 1970 activated 20 million Americans to call for better protection of our natural resources, and was followed by the passage of the landmark Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, and other groundbreaking environmental laws.
Today, Earth Day is celebrated in more than 192 countries and is needed more than ever. Water supplies that sustain communities across North America are being stretched. We need a Blue Revolution to change how we view water and create an ethic of using water wisely.
