Remove your turf and receive $2 per square foot, up to 1,600 square feet for residential properties (for a max of $3,200) and up to 3,200 square feet for commercial/multi-family properties (for a max of $6,400). Funds are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis! If you are having trouble moving forward with your project, Ventura Water is here to help. Follow these five easy steps to get started:

  1. Go to www.removeyourturf.com and click “Apply Online Now” to set up an account.
  2. Provide a water bill.
  3. Include photos of your landscape and irrigation system.
  4. Draw a site plan (see below or click here to view).
  5. Provide list of new plants (see below or click here to view).

Don’t get too caught up in the details. Designing a plan for your yard can be quick and easy! We are able to connect you with a landscape professional and also encourage do-it-yourself landscape projects! Resources are available for those of you looking to DIY. Site plans can be self-generated and plant lists can be simple.
